Connor is doing fairly well 2 days post surgery. A lot of his swelling has gone down, and they are actually planning on stitching him back up tomorrow some time, as opposed to Tuesday or Wednesday.
He wills till have lots of healing to do though. But at least they will be able to get all his bowel back into him and close him up.
On Tuesday they will also do a fetal echo to look at his heart and PDA (an open duct in the heart). He may require surgery for this as well. So they would like to do it while he is at the University Hospital. Which we feel will be a good thing, as it is not helping him with his breathing at the present time.
