Well I don' want to get ahead of myself at this point. But Connor's CPAP was taken off this morning at 9:15 am. He is not on any breathing assistance machines at all. He seems to be doing fairly well with it, only having once spontaneous brad (drop in breathing rate, causing drop in heart rate). However, he was able to bring himself out of it with in seconds on his own, not needing any assistance.
So far so good!
He has also been increased in his feeds of Lipids (fats), nutrients, and breast milk, and is tolerating that as well. So now we wait for him to start putting on some weight.
He has his cranial scan tomorrow to look for any bleeds or abnormalities. So it will be a stressful day, waiting for the reports and doctors to get to us to tell us if there is anything going on.
day by day, week by week, baby steps!
